Editing: Creating the Magazine Advert

I started editing by creating a white background and making it 19x29 for it to be A4, I then added the photo from the front of the digipak so it could be connected with consumers when purchasing the album. After that I added the matching 'bon iver, blood bank' which is also on the digipak

I then had the hard decision of the font for the rest of the text on the advert

I tested out various ones including this one 'Trajan Pro' and these...

'Letter Gothic Std'

'Nueva Std'

'Baskerville' is the one I liked the most which I thought was also the most conventionally suitable too. I went on to add other bits of text around and also played around on whether to have what in all capitals and where to have the text I went for the top option in the end

I then added a #, website and production company at the bottom to give the consumers some information. I played around with where to place the production company's logo

I then searched online to look for 5 stars to give reviews of the album to the consumers

I wanted to connect the music video to this advertisement was added the 'featuring the single 'beach baby'

In my research I saw some advertisements had two reviews so duplicated the layer and had two ratings

I then added the text 'the mirror' and 'me' under the stars to create authenticity 

Now that I had finished and spent a lot of time making sure it's all straight I decided to crop the top as  the background was a bit long...

I will now focus on getting feedback from some of my target audience and then make any improvements suggested etc
